French Garden Table

Wow...What a whirlwind week I had...I guess you could say that for the last month!!  My son Garret, graduated from High school on Friday...Heavy Sigh!!
We had a huge party for him yesterday...It was so much fun!!!  I thank God everyday for my wonderful friends and family!!

Anyway....that's another post for another day...Today I'm going to share this little table I picked up at a garage sale.  I'm sure it had a glass center at one time, but when I found it, there was a piece of unfinished wood instead....That made my job so easy.  :)

I painted it with some homemade chalk paint and then grabbed a stencil I had purchased online at Etsy here:
They have some wonderful stencil and I'm always happy when I can send a fellow "Etsyian" some love!  :)

I also added a couple of stamps, just for fun...
Painted  two protective coats of polyacrlic and sent it down to the shop....
That's it for now...but I'm back and have a ton of goodies to share...so do keep in touch!! :)
Denise
(I will be linking up to many of the parties on my side bar).

  7. Found your blog thru Shabbilicious Friday Link/ Shabby art boutique. Sure like your table, great idea putting the stenciled lettering on it. People don't seem to get rid of things on the roadside where I live, not that I know of anyway. We stay home a whole bunch so I miss alot out here a few miles from town.
I'll have to look into that website for stencils. Glad to find your blog, great projects.
