I haven't posted any furniture re-do's lately, so I thought it was time....
And this is pretty cute; if I may say so myself. :)
I got it at the GW along with a couple other pieces...(The Good Will is usually over priced)....but this was a good day....
I lightly sanded it and painted it with some of my homemade chalk paint...
Three coats to be exact...It wasn't an easy cover.
I added the Eiffel Tower and used stamps to add the word Paris....
But...
It was still missing something...
So I added these cute little drawer pulls from Hobby Lobby.
Just the right touch, don't you think?
I'll be linking up to many of the parties on my side bar...Feel free to check them out!

ReplyDeleteI'm always amazed at how one little thing makes such a difference, the knobs are perfect, love it. Great job. What would we do with out HL? When I need knobs that's my for sure go to place. I could spend hours just looking at knobs and thinking of what I'd love to use them on. Time will tell.
ReplyDeleteYou've inspired me for a couple end tables I got a few weeks ago. Have to wait til I can get some sand paper for my little mouse (payday is Wed. 26th.) I'm looking forward to changing the tables, they'll be my first real re-do except for my own pieces.
Love the black and white on your table, perfect with the Eiffel Tower.
This is so cute! I love how you pulled everything together! Thank you for sharing at my furniture and paint party!

ReplyDeleteSuper Cute! Love the Eiffle Tower & the knobs go perfectly with the whole look. Beautiful job! Dee from My Painted Stuff
ReplyDeleteI think it's adorable and the bicycle knobs are the perfect finishing touch. Our GW is outrageously over priced, but once in a while I do find something with a thrifty price tag.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I love your furniture style. Great work.
ReplyDeleteDenise, the knobs are the icing on the cake! Love the Eifel tower and the fun Paris words. Great redo! Thanks for sharing with SYC.

ReplyDeletewhat a cute redo,I have been looking all over for an eiffel tower stencil, where did you get it? And I love the drawer pulls, I wish we had a hobby lobby in Canada. Great post
ReplyDeleteThanks Betty,
DeleteI free handed the Eiffel Tower, (and had to paint over some parts several times) but I bet you could find one on Etsy. I have also used a fairly large stamp before...when I need just a little something in a corner. I don't have a Hobby Lobby by me either :( but I stopped at one, when we were at an out of town Volley Ball tournament....I drive my family nuts! :)
Have a great day!
Denise
