Last Sunday, the wind outside was blowing the rain sideways...... but inside my fire was keeping the place warm and cozy!!! The kids were both, all snugged in their beds...Hubby too.....and I had the morning to myself....ahhhh....
You might wonder what I read (when it's not my sons homework)....well this Sunday it was........Cloth.paper.scissors Studio magazine, it always inspires me...not just to create the perfect studio space but also the artists in the magazine give me inspiration and a creative boost of energy!!! My "Mixed-Media self-portraits" book by Cate Coulacos Prato...is full of great ideas...some I'm planning to use with my art students....Maybe next week....
For now this is my favorite coffee cup...I just LOVE the colors in it...I got it in my stocking for Christmas...from my Mommy. :)...... Well, I guess Sunday in my city this week was really Sunday in my home...but sometimes (most often) that's the best place to be!
Hmmmmmm.......I can hear the crackle of the fire in the living room...And I'm sure my knitting is calling me.....I hope this Sunday you too can take some time to relax reflect and enjoy a peaceful slice of life!
