Stay Weird Jewelry a Vintage Remix

Last week while my 17 year old was home sick with a fever....I took the opportunity to hang out with her, putt around the house and make some jewelry.  I do hate it when she's sick but I love our time together!!

Anyway I've been wanting to make some more jewelry and I love the old photo of our hen Pebbles...She was the sweetest thing and had the craziest head of "hair".

My plan was to say "just me being me" on the front and "be yourself" on the back.
 But...

After the Oscars and Graham Moore's speech I put "Stay Weird" on the back instead...
If you haven't read it look it up!  :)

Did I mention I use my Vintage typewriter for the words?
It's a big ugly electric one but I LOVE it's font!!  :)

The bit of bling is an old clip on earring I picked up somewhere???

The next day I made one that has the "Stay Weird" in front....
I have more to share but that's another day...

Stay Weird!!

Jewelry Remix...

I somehow ended up with some pieces of silver plated silverware...They were hiding at the bottom of a box of junk I picked up last summer...SCORE!!"
So here's what I made with them....

I had a jar of vintage jewelry that had been just waiting for such a project...
Not to mention jars and jars of vintage buttons...I can't say no to them.  :)
But I did have to pick up the metal stamps.

The first piece I did was for the wife of our team photographer...She's such a dear and shows up to all our volleyball games to cheer the girls on.

I've made all kinds of jewelry on and off for the last 30 years.  It was fun to get back into it, this time using scraps of this and that.

Love this one with the vintage lace and buttons...Perfect for a seamstress!!

My inspiration came from My Salvaged Treasures...She does such beautiful work and is so worth following!!

I am having way to much fun...there is defiantly more to come...
But for today that's it...Thanks for visiting
